Klubbvik canal

Part of the fairway from the sea to Luleå harbour. When it comes to tonnage, Luleå is one of the biggest harbours of Sweden.

History:
This canal was built in the 1960ies when bigger and bigger ships were used to come for iron ore at Luleå harbour.
During the 1970ies the canal was widened even more and now a draught of 12.2 meters is allowed.
