Torslanda canal

This canal was built by Grefab, Göteborgsregionens Fritidshamnar AB, 1995, when they built the pleasureboat harbour Torslanda Lagun. The harbour has about 200 places for boats in the water and 800 places for boats on land during winters. 300 of the winterplaces are indoors.
The canal is between the old allotment island Skeppstadsholmen and the old runway of the closed airfield Torslanda.
This short canal, about 100 meter long, connects the harbour Torslanda Lagun to Rivö Fjord of the sea. The canal is 2,5 meter deep and 12 meter wide at the surface.
