Jonsered canal

Jonsered has one of Sweden's best preserved early industrial establishments, The Jonsered Works. The works were built here to take advantage of the water power in the Säveån. The oldest parts of the establishment is located on an islet between the creek and a canal from lake Aspen.

. I would very much want to get more information about the canal from lake Aspen.
I know that many pleasure boats have used Säveån on their way from their summer harbours to their winter storage along the creek. I'm looking for more information about this.
