Bergkanalen
From Tåtorp the canal is blowed through solid rock for about 4 kilometers. To make it cheaper this part is not quite as wide as the rest of the canal. Here it is only 10,6 at the bottom, which makes it difficult for the big canal ships to meet.
There are special meeting places, and during the old busy times ships sometimes had to wait for up to four hours to get through.
But it is an extremely beautiful area.
