Töcksfors canal

The two locks in Töcksfors makes passage to Lake Töcken possible. Via a canalized fairway you can get further to Lake Östen.
Building this fairway started in 1911 and it was ready for use in 1915.

Highest in Sweden

The two locks in Töcksfors has a total elevation of 10,1 meter, leading up to 110,2 meters above the sea. This is the highest lake- and canal-system in Sweden linked dirextly to the sea.
