Kaarnee canal
Kaarneen kanava
Kaarmee floating canal is in Kuhmo canal in Kainuu county.
It is about 400 meter long and the difference in waterlevel is 4,2 meter. It takes it's water from lake Niskajärvi to lake Koponen. There used to be a lifting device for boats close to the canal.
The canal was part of the floating route fron Kainuu to the Bay of Bothnia.
