Fladan
Fladan is a 3,5 kilometers long kanal through Vässölandet istmus. This is south of Borgå and along the cost of the Gulf of Finland. The canal has been dredged several times. The latest time beeing in 2004.
The canal passes through a thickly foliaged area. Going by boat you have to be careful not to crash into grazing cows! There is plenty of pasturage by the canal and cows often come here to eat.
The depth in the canal is 1,2 meter and the free heigth 3,0 meters.
