Kort historia:
There are two canals in Nyborg harbour. One connects the yachtharbour to a small dinghy basin and one canal from southwards from Østhavnen. Building of these two canals started in 2003 when the old harbour- and industrial area in the center of Nyborg were developet to a residential area.
The canal to the dinghy basin is 18,5 meters long, 4 meters wide and 2 meters deep. There is an opening bridge of dutch type over the canal. The bridge is called Hollænderbridge.
The canal from Østhavnen i 275 meters long, 10 meters wide and 2 meters deep. There is a non-opening bridge only 1,35 meters free close to Østhavnen.
